Car Crash

Lizardo Law serves people injured in car crashes.

Examples of car accidents involve a car hitting another car, several cars crashing into each other, cars hitting pedestrians, cars hitting bicyclists, cars hitting motorcycles, trucks hitting cars, and so on.

A car crash may even involve minor property damage to the car that got hit, but the driver and passenger of that car were still injured.

If you got injured in a car crash, we’re here to help you.

People injured in car crashes are in shock, in pain, and stressed out. We help you get the proper medical treatment you need and pay your medical bills so you can concentrate on healing and getting your life back in order.

Lizardo Law is not a regular law firm. We are a purpose-driven company that happens to be a law firm. Our purpose: to inspire hope. Hope is a feeling of trust. Hope is a desire for good things to happen. Hope is to believe in something better (click this link to download our Immutable Laws).

We inspire our clients. Most people injured in car accidents think that “bad things” keep on happening to them after their car crash because they continue to be in pain from their injuries, their medical bills are piling up, their life has changed dramatically, and they don’t know what to do.

If you feel the same way, we want to inspire you to believe that you deserve good things to happen in your life. That’s why we provide a “hand-holding” approach to guide you from start to finish and to prove to you that you are truly not alone.

This is what we believe in Lizardo Law. If you believe what we believe, and you believe that the things we do can help, we’d love to help you.

Call us at (469) 447-9955 or contact us via email. We can talk about how we can help you. It’s free. You have nothing to lose but time. We know that you’d feel better after you call us.

Frequently asked questions

What does the process look like?

We understand that you’re anxious after your car accident. That’s why knowing what to expect will provide you with some peace of mind and clarity. Here’s what you should expect from us.

Step 1: Call us at (469) 447-9955.

Step 2: During our call, we will give you a free consultation. We will ask you some basic questions about the car accident, for example, “How did the car accident happen?” and “What are your injuries from the accident?” Based on your answers, we will determine whether or not you have a claim.

Step 3: If you have a claim and you would like to hire us, we will send you our Attorney-Client Agreement to complete and sign so you can formally hire us as your lawyer.

Step 4: Once we are officially your lawyer, we can represent you in your claim. We will contact insurance companies, police departments, government agencies, medical providers, and everyone else to let them know to contact us directly, and not to contact you anymore. That way, you won’t have to deal with any stressful phone calls, emails, or text messages from any of them. We will deal with them directly on your behalf.

Step 5: Since each claim is unique, we will provide you with a detailed plan on how to handle your specific claim. You are always in charge of your claim. We will always work with you and get your approval on how to proceed with your claim. You and our firm are a team in getting you healthy again and making sure you receive fair compensation.

How and when do I pay you?

If you don’t win, you don’t pay us. We work on a contingency fee basis, which means that our legal fees are based on the results of your case. If we settle the case or win at trial, our legal fee is based on a percentage of the money we recover for you. We tie our success to yours. Our team will go to work for you, and you don’t owe us a penny unless we win your case. We do not charge for our legal services unless we win. You will not pay any attorney’s fees unless we get you fair compensation.

What questions should I ask when interviewing a lawyer?

So, you’re looking for a lawyer. You’re probably wondering, “How do I choose the right lawyer for me?” That’s a very good question.

One way to know if a lawyer is right for you is whether you feel comfortable with that lawyer. You will be working with that person during a difficult time of your life, so you’d want someone whom you can talk to when you are in pain and stressed out. You’d also want someone whom you can listen to because you trust that person’s legal advice.

My clients have chosen me as the right lawyer for them because of these things. I hope that by sharing a brief background of myself here, that you would feel the same way.

Here are other questions to ask when interviewing a lawyer:

1. Are you available for any questions or concerns I may have? – Make sure that the lawyer and staff are always available to answer your concerns. A good lawyer and law firm always return your call, text, or email promptly.

At our firm, we believe in replying to you that same day.

2. How can I reach you if I have any questions or concerns? – Being able to conveniently contact anyone at the law firm is important, especially when you need help immediately.

At our firm, you can email or call us anytime. We also understand that everyone uses text messaging as a convenient way to communicate. That’s why we provide you with the cell phone numbers of the lawyer and staff assigned to your case, so you can text them anytime, anywhere.

3. Who will I be dealing with at your firm regarding my claim? – Make sure the lawyer is always available for you. That’s very important since the lawyer is in charge of your claim.

At our firm, while we work as a team meaning our lawyer and staff will be working with you, the lawyer assigned to your case will always be available for you.

4. Have you had any ethical issues or disciplinary actions filed against you or your law firm? – We understand that this is a sensitive question to ask. We believe that an ethical lawyer will always appreciate this question and will never be offended by it. That’s why if you ask this question and the lawyer is offended, that is not a good sign, and you should look for another lawyer.

At our firm, we want you to ask us this question. In fact, one of our Immutable Laws says, “Character Matters. We say it. We live it. We breathe it.” (click this link to download our Immutable Laws). No one at our firm has had any ethical issues or disciplinary actions filed against them or our law firm. No ethical issues or disciplinary actions are a requirement for working with our firm. No exceptions.

What qualities should I be looking for in a good lawyer?

Here are some qualities we believe a good lawyer should have:

1. Ethical – You want someone who will do the right thing for you.

2. Caring – You are going through a difficult time in your life emotionally, physically, and mentally after a car crash. A good lawyer should understand this and be able to provide you legal advice and guidance with care and sensitivity.

3. Responsive – When you have a question about your claim, your medical treatment, or your medical bill, you likely feel anxious and stressed out until you have a response. That’s why a good lawyer recognizes this and responds to you immediately.

4. Listens – A good lawyer not only gives legal advice to clients but also listens to them as well.  At our firm, when listening to clients, we also listen to what is not being said. People tend to tell us what we want to hear. There are many reasons they do this – emotional trauma, fear of being seen as a failure, just to name a few. Our clients don’t have to tell us what they are not ready to share. But we are sensitive to what is not being said as well. We must still hear what they don’t say. That’s how we truly listen. We deeply believe in this philosophy that’s why it’s one of our Immutable Laws (click here to read more).
